Emergency Roof Repairs
Emergency roof repair is a service we offer that is used to quickly address any damage to a roof caused by natural disasters, extreme weather, animals, or other causes.
It includes services to shore up structural damage to the roof and seal up roof leaks to prevent further property damage.
It is important to remain calm and protect the area as best as possible after a roof emergency. Our professional roofer will then assess the damage, add a temporary roof patch or tarp, and work with the homeowner to contact the insurance company to see if filing a claim is warranted.
Depending on the severity of the damage, the roofer may need to completely replace the roof or just fix the affected area.
What to Do If You Have a Roofing Emergency
- If you have a need for an emergency roof repair, call our roofing hotline at (833) 737-3266, use our convenient website chat feature or book an inspection using the orange button.
- First, ensure your family (including pets) are safe and not in any danger. Depending on the extent of the damage, you may want to have them leave the home.
- Remain calm, and protect the area as best as possible. We recommend waiting for Southeastern Roofing to arrive — don’t climb on a ladder, especially during a storm!
- Contact Southeastern Roofing by using the chat feature on this website or calling our roofing hotline. While we serve several areas, our hotline will set you up with service from our nearest branch location.
- When our roofing consultant arrives, show him/her the damage, and leaks, then let them perform their inspection.
- Once the inspection is complete, the roofing consultant may cover the damaged area with a tarp or drop cloth to prevent further damage.
- Our roofing consultant will provide you documentation of the damage with a detailed report, including photos or video.
- If filing an insurance claim is warranted, our roofing consultant will help you contact your insurance company and file a claim. We cooperate and work side-by-side with your claims adjuster to ensure they get the total picture of the extent of damage.
- Be sure to keep any reports, receipts, photos or videos to document the damage, should the insurance company request that in the future. If in doubt, save it!
- Take steps to protect the interior of the home from further damage, such as setting up buckets to catch water, running a humidifier, and moving furniture and other items to minimize the damage.
